The English FA appointed PR consultant PETER HARGITAY and former FIFA Communications Dir MARCUS SIEGLER to its 2018 World Cup bid team. Hargitay, an advisor to FIFA President SEPP BLATTER, will step down from that post at the end of the year (Manchester GUARDIAN, 11/22)....The Ravens promoted the following: MARK BURDETT to VP/Corporate Sales; BOB ELLER to VP/Operations; BAKER KOPPELMAN to VP/Ticket Sales & operations and ROY SOMMERHOF to VP/Stadium Operations (Ravens)....The Royals named JIN WONG to the newly-created position of Dir of Baseball Administration and named LONNIE GOLDBERG Dir of Baseball Operations (Royals).
