With PSLs at the Cowboys' new stadium priced up to $50,000, individual tickets up to $340 per game and premium parking at $750 per season, in Ft. Worth, Randy Galloway wrote, "There has never been anything close to this kind of pricing structure when it comes to sports. But the seats will sell. Unfortunately, it will be more of a corporate crowd than real fans in those particular seats" (FT. WORTH STAR-TELEGRAM, 11/22). Meanwhile, Texas A&M and Univ. of Arkansas officials are "close to finalizing" a six-to-eight year deal to play a non-conference football series at the stadium starting in '09. The matchup "could rival the annual Texas-Oklahoma game at Fair Park" (DALLAS MORNING NEWS, 11/26)....MSG "accomplished a first, selling out three events in a 24-hour span" this past weekend -- Saturday's Bulls-Knicks matinée, Saturday night's Boston Univ.-Cornell hockey game and yesterday's Stars-Rangers game (N.Y. POST. 11/25)....NYRA's early reservation system for reserved seats at Saratoga Race Course is "another casualty of the ongoing uncertainty over the state's horse racing franchise." NYRA's Web site for tickets and reservations "still has last year's information," and a rep on NYRA's information line "said reservations aren't being taken because of 'the franchise'" (Albany TIMES UNION, 11/26).
