Disney VP/Sports Attractions Reggie Williams To Resign

Williams Stepping Down
From Role At Disney
Disney VP/Sports Attractions REGGIE WILLIAMS will resign next Wednesday to “focus on rehabilitating his legs, which sustained numerous injuries during his 14-year career in the NFL,” according to Josh Robbins of the ORLANDO SENTINEL. Williams has been the only chief exec of Disney’s Wide World of Sports complex since it opened in ’97. The venue hosts over 180 youth sporting events annually, and serves as the Braves' Spring Training and the Buccaneers' training camp home. Williams will be inducted into the College Football HOF on December 4.  Disney has not indicated who will succeed Williams (ORLANDO SENTINEL, 11/14).
