Sources said that the Mariners' 12-year contract extension with FSN Northwest is worth “more than $400[M]”. The team’s previous contract with the network was worth $288M (SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER, 11/8)….Beginning Monday, Dan Patrick’s new nationally syndicated show will air on tape delay at 10:00pm-1:00am CT on Chicago’s WSCR-AM. Patrick left ESPN in August to join the Chicago-based Content Factory. His show airs in more than 50 markets, with the live broadcast running from 8-11:00am (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 11/8). The show is “on track to land 100 affiliates by January” (CHICAGO SUN-TIMES, 11/8)….Former jockey Gary Stevens will serve as an on-air analyst for HorseRacing TV for the network’s thoroughbred racing coverage. He will continue his role as analyst for NBC Sports. Stevens previously worked for TVG (HRTV).
