Red Sox Nation? Clinching Game Four MMs For '07 Vs. '04

The clinching game of the '07 World Series earned a 55.3 Nielsen rating in Boston, which is down 6.3% from a 59.0 rating in '04, the last time the Red Sox won the championship. Only three U.S. metered-markets showed an increase from the last Red Sox-clinching game (Providence-New Bedford, Denver and Albuquerque-Santa Fe). The following presents market-by-market ratings for the clinching Game Four of the '07 World Series, which aired on Sunday night, compared to the clinching Game Four of the '04 World Series, which aired on a Wednesday night (THE DAILY).
