Blog Hound: Ready, Set, Draft!
Published October 25, 2007
One of the results of the NFL owners meetings in Philadelphia is that for the '08 Draft, the time between picks will be decreased from 15 to ten minutes for Round One and ten to seven minutes for Round Two. Also, only Rounds One and Two will take place on Saturday, beginning at 3:00pm ET instead of noon. Bloggers discuss the impact of these changes.

| “As a draft freak, I think I speak for those like me when I say the decision to make changes to the longest, most irrelevant-but-fun event of the NFL off-season (like there really is one anymore) should be applauded” |

| “Thank Goodness!! There is just so much of that bunch at ESPN a human should have to endure.” |
