The Redskins promoted Senior VP DENNIS GREENE to President of Business Operations.  Greene will play a "strategic role" in the team's overall marketing efforts and be responsible for maintaining all hospitality and premium product sales at FedExField (Redskins).

PLANE DEALER: DEI has fired MIKE CLARK, GREG PRICE and KASEY BROOKS stemming from their involvement in a banner flying over Lowe's Motor Speedway last weekend reading, "How much does BOBBY GINN owe you." DEI VP & GM JOHN STORY said, "We addressed the situation internally and dealt with it appropriately." The three had worked for Ginn Racing before it merged with DEI this summer (CHARLOTTE OBSERVER, 10/21).

EXECS: Intersport's Events Division hired JOHN KNEBEL as VP/Marketing Partnerships and Intersport's Digital Media Division hired HUGH HARDAGE as VP/Digital Sales (Intersport)....The Detroit Metro Sports Commission (DMSC) promoted SEAN KRABACH to Senior Manager, Event Operations, where he will assume day-to-day responsibilities for all DMSC-hosted events, including the '08 AAU Junior Olympic Games. Krabach will also be responsible for game management of the '09 NCAA men's basketball Final Four at Ford Field (DMSC).
