Arnold Worldwide No Longer Handling PR For Under Armour
Published October 9, 2007
Under Armour “has parted ways with” Boston-based Arnold Worldwide, which had handled PR for the Baltimore-based apparel company since August ’06, according to Ryan Sharrow of the BALTIMORE BUSINESS JOURNAL. Arnold also recently "helped secure media placements for the company's latest marketing campaign -- its largest to date -- targeting female athletes." Arnold U.S. CEO Fran Kelly indicated that the agency has “shuttered its eight-employee corporate communications department.” Under Armour creates its ads, including the "Protect this House" and "Click-Clack" campaigns, in-house (BALTIMORE BUSINESS JOURNAL, 10/5 issue).
