Published October 4, 2007
From February '06-March '07, Scarborough Research surveyed 220,354 residents in 79 U.S. markets, measuring a variety of topics. Presented here are select rankings of NHL markets whose residents claim to be “loyal” (very or somewhat interested) fans of the NHL. For example, 7.5% of Buffalo residents who are loyal NHL fans are between the ages of 18-34, while 21.6% percent of that market’s females are NHL fans. For comparison, the average for all of Scarborough’s 79 markets is also listed for each category.
