Edward Jones Dome Renovation Plans Include New Video Displays
Published October 4, 2007
The Rams have requested a $29M renovation to the Edward Jones Dome, with the addition of two new video boards in the end zones being “key features” to the upgrades, according to Tim O’Neil of the ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH. The renovations will satisfy a "section of the Rams' occupancy lease that requires improvements” every ten years. They are set to begin in March and finish in time for the ’09 season. In addition to replacing the end-zone scoreboards, plans call for a lighter paint job and “a way for outside light to enter the cavernous interior,” extending two private end zone clubs "with open areas so fans can see the field” in the space freed by the old scoreboards and installing LED boards on the upper deck (ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH, 10/3).
