McNair And Wife Donate $100M
To Baylor College Of Medicine
The Baylor College of Medicine will announce today Texans Owner BOB MCNAIR and his wife, JANICE, are giving the school $100M, equaling its largest donation ever. The gift, made through the Robert & Janice McNair Foundation, "will fund research into breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, juvenile diabetes and the neurosciences." Baylor will name the campus on which it is building the hospital and clinic for the McNairs (HOUSTON CHRONICLE, 9/12).

NEON LIGHTS: Former NFLer DEION SANDERS and his wife, PILAR, will be featured in a new reality series on Oxygen tentatively titled "DEION & PILAR SANDERS: PRIME TIME LOVE." The eight-episode series will debut in February and will follow the couple and their five kids, focusing on Pilar Sanders' "desire to do something bigger with her life," while Deion is "content to stay home with the kids and enjoy his retirement" (DALLAS MORNING NEWS, 9/12).

NAMES: Pro fisher CHARLIE MOORE has landed a deal with Fox to star in a sitcom next fall.  Moore will be cast as himself and play a Boston "outdoorsman and family man who has his own local show and also coaches football" (BOSTON HERALD, 9/12)....Gymnast ALICIA SACRAMONE has signed with TrinityOne Marketing for sponsorship and endorsement representation, while Greenberg Traurig's HENRY HOLMES will serve as her legal representation (TrinityOne)....Saints QB DREW BREES and former QB BOBBY HERBERT through Charity Wines have launched "Vintage Brees Chardonnay" and "Cajun Cannon Cabernet." For every bottle sold, $1.25 will be donated to either Brees's Operation Kids initiative or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of New Orleans (Charity Wines)....The SUPER BOWL and the ads featuring during the game are highlighted as one of the "17 Shows That Changed TV" (Time, 9/17 issue).
