FoxSports.com Using Actor Mohr To Enhance Entertainment Focus

Mohr Teaming Up With FoxSports.com

FoxSports.com on MSN "is expanding beyond box scores into more entertainment-flavored programming with a weekly video program" from actor Jay Mohr called "The Alternative With Jay Mohr," according to Andrew Wallenstein of the HOLLYWOOD REPORTER.  Each week, Mohr will pen a column, supply 20 minutes of video segments and sketch comedy "riffing on sports headlines."  The show will debut this month.  Mohr will produce under his Giraffe Productions.  The deal was negotiated on behalf of Mohr by Paradigm (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 8/6).  Mohr previously wrote a weekly column for SI.com from '05-06 and appeared on ESPN's "Mohr Sports" in '02 (THE DAILY).
