Predators Seeing Strong Season-Ticket Numbers Despite Sale
Published August 6, 2007
Predators Exec VP/Business Affairs Steve Violetta said that the team, which is in the process of being purchased by a group of local investors, is “likely to pass last year's final season-ticket total in the next couple of weeks,” according to John Glennon of the Nashville TENNESSEAN. As of Friday morning, the Predators had sold 8,521 season tickets; last season's final total was 8,758. Violetta said that he expects the current 73% season-ticket renewal rate "to increase leading up to the season” (Nashville TENNESSEAN, 8/4). In a separate piece, Glennon reported local fund-raising organization Save The Predators “made a big contribution to the team's ticket drive on Friday,” buying 601 tickets for about $20,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee (TENNESSEAN, 8/4).
