Roger Clemens Appearing In New TV Spot For AT&T
Published August 3, 2007
Yankees P Roger Clemens is appearing in a new spot for AT&T, via BBDO, N.Y. The ad has Clemens and wife, Debbie, in a new iteration of the “fewest dropped calls” campaign, in which wireless calls are dropped at critical points in the conversations. Clemens is shown out of uniform at a golf course, where he has a conversation with his wife about his retirement plans. When he asks about returning to N.Y. for one more year, he is unable to hear his wife's screams against the idea because the call is dropped. Clemens in '04 appeared in an ad for Cingular.
