Russell Athletic To Print ArenaBowl T-Shirts At Game
Published July 26, 2007
Russell Athletic will feature a traveling printing press called the “Inkster” at Sunday’s ArenaBowl XXI at New Orleans Arena that will allow the company to print T-shirts with the winning team’s information on it as soon as the game ends, according to Andrew Lopez of the New Orleans TIMES-PICAYUNE. The Inkster has the “capability of printing up to 650 shirts in an hour and could have more available if the game turns out to be a blowout.” There will also be shirts available for the winning team to wear on the field after the game. Russell Athletic President Doug Kelly said the machine is “essentially a printing shop on wheels. It allows us to service the market immediately” (New Orleans TIMES-PICAYUNE, 7/26).
