Centerplate Wins Concession Contract At Louisville Arena
Published July 25, 2007
The Louisville Arena Authority, pending contract negotiations, has selected Centerplate as the food concessionaire for a new 22,000-seat college basketball facility, according to two sources involved in the bidding process. Centerplate has a major presence in the market with contracts at Freedom Hall and Slugger Field. The deal for the new arena, expected to open for Univ. of Louisville men’s basketball in 2010, could generate $7M annually in concession revenue, sources said.
