Rumors of the move were first reported by Pro Football Talk this past weekend. Vick's No. 7 Falcons jerseys and his $85 Air Zoom Vick IV detachable cleat are no longer being sold at the stores. Dick's officials would not comment (CNBC.com, 7/24).

Golfers accepting the offer included Jim Furyk, Vijay Singh, Chris DiMarco and Mike Weir. Tournament Dir Bill Paul "wouldn't say how much the RCGA invested in the charter," but industry sources estimated the cost at C$200,000-250,000 (Toronto GLOBE & MAIL, 7/24).
