Wrigley Will Sponsor Nets' Newly Branded Offseason

Wrigley, the new chewing gum sponsor of the NBA (see THE DAILY, 7/11), has signed a team sponsorship deal with the Nets for the '07-08 season and has also inked a six-figure deal as the presenting sponsor of the team's offseason, according to Matthew Futterman of the Newark STAR-LEDGER. Under the offseason deal, Wrigley brands will have logo presence at Nets basketball camps and clinics, coaching clinics, street fairs and auditions for the Nets Dancers, Nets Kids, Team Hype and the NETSational Seniors. Nets Sports & Entertainment President CEO Brett Yormark, said of the current offseason, which he renamed "Nets Overtime," "Wherever our brand goes, the Wrigley brands will be visible" (Newark STAR-LEDGER, 7/12).
