RTKL Associates Sold To Netherlands-Based ARCADIS
Published July 9, 2007
Baltimore-based architecture firm RTKL Associates has been sold to Dutch engineering and consulting firm ARCADIS for an undisclosed amount, according to Connolly & Arney of the Baltimore SUN. RTKL created the master plan for Camden Yards and is the architect for the Hilton convention hotel next to Oriole Park. The firm was also on the design team that helped Beijing win the ’08 Summer Olympics. ARCADIS “plans to keep RTKL intact as a subsidiary, with existing management and staff in place, and has vowed to invest capital in the firm to help it grow” (Baltimore SUN, 7/7).
