Elliott Will Help Promote Friends Of The Foundation

NASCAR driver Bill Elliott will serve as the official ’07 spokesperson for The NASCAR Foundation’s Friends of the Foundation program.  Elliott will appear in a TV, print and radio ad campaign, which will debut during the July 29 Allstate 400 at the Brickyard (NASCAR)….Tigers 3B Brandon Inge and his wife, Shani, recently donated $100,000 to the Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan, for a new activity center and are holding a naming-rights contest for kids based on an essay of up to 100 words or an illustration. A donation to the hospital must also be made (DETROIT FREE PRESS, 7/5)….Nine Saints cheerleaders traveled to Iraq and Kuwait this summer on a 12-day goodwill tour, during which they performed several nightly shows for U.S. soldiers (New Orleans TIMES-PICAYUNE, 7/5).
