McClatchy Stepping Down As Pirates CEO After Season

Pirates CEO KEVIN MCCLATCHY will step down at the end of the season after more than 11 years as the day-to-day leader of the organization.  The search for a successor will begin immediately.  McClatchy led a group that bought the Pirates in February '96 and served as the team's Principal Owner until ceding control to ROBERT NUTTING earlier this year (THE DAILY).
