NOTES: ^ = Toronto FC is an expansion team. ^^ = The Fire did not play a home game until June 11 of last season as the team was waiting for its new stadium to be completed.
REVOLUTION: Over 24,000 tickets have been sold for MLS Galaxy-Revolution on August 12 at Gillette Stadium, David Beckham’s first game in the region. The tickets have been sold as part of four-game packages, and “no individual game tickets are expected to be available.” Capacity for the lower bowl at the stadium is 30,000, and Revolution COO Brian Bilello said, “The demand will be over 30,000, but I don’t think there is any way we will open it up [and sell seats in the upper bowl]” (BOSTON GLOBE, 6/3).
