Jonny Moseley Takes Significant Role With The Ski Channel
Published June 4, 2007
Steve Bellamy's The Ski Channel signed a partnership with '98 Olympic Gold Medalist and MTV personality Jonny Moseley. As part of the deal, Moseley will make an investment in the soon-to-launch VOD channel. He also will be the channel's spokesperson, have a heavy on-air presence and serve as "an advisory staff member," according to a press release. One show will be called "Air It Out with Jonny Moseley," where Moseley will interview other snow sports athletes. He also will star in an as-yet- unnamed instructional series. The channel plans to launch in the first quarter of '08. The deal still allows Moseley to work on other networks, specifically MTV where he has hosted "Real World/Road Rules Challenge."
