| Miller And Wife Establish Fund To Support Children’s Hospital |
NOTES: The CFL Argonauts plan to donate C$4M over five years to the Hospital for Sick Children’s foundation. It is “believed to be the largest donation in franchise history” (CP, 5/24)....Monday night’s Phillies Phestival for ALS raised a record $720,056, up $48,000 from last year’s total (Phillies)....Luczo Dragon Racing, co-owned by Steve Luczo and Jay Penske, will donate the profits from its Indianapolis 500 debut to charities affiliated with sports and entertainment personalities, including Colts coach Tony Dungy, Coyotes Managing General Partner and coach Wayne Gretzky and former U.S. Olympian Kristi Yamaguchi. Luczo has guaranteed $250,000 regardless of where driver Ryan Briscoe finishes (USA TODAY, 5/21)....Reebok is teaming with Boston Public Schools for the Reebok 4 Real Human Rights Student Advocate Program, the primary pillar of the brand’s new global corporate citizenship platform. The program is designed to encourage high school students and Reebok employees to learn about and support former recipients of the Reebok Human Rights Award (Reebok).
