    NBC earns a respectable 5.4/13 overnight Nielsen rating for the Preakness Stakes, but two larger stories have emerged from Saturday’s race. First, the network opts to switch viewers from the overtime finish of the Senators-Sabres playoff game so they can see all of the pre-race coverage before the Preakness.
