GREAT GRADY: Indians CF Grady Sizemore, who is featured on the cover of this week’s SI, said “I think I drive my agent crazy with the (endorsements) I turn down. I just want to go out on the field and play. I’m not comfortable in front of the camera. I don’t like seeing this mug on TV” (SI, 5/14 issue). Sizemore is repped by Octagon’s Joe Urbon.
ROGER THAT: ESPN’s Bob Holtzman reported Yankees P Roger Clemens yesterday attended his son Koby’s game with the Single-A South Atlantic League Lexington Legends. Clemens started a game for the team last season while getting ready to pitch for the Astros. Holtzman: “Outside the ballpark hangs a massive photo of Clemens’ start here last year. In the gift shop, they still sell Clemens bobbleheads and jerseys.” Legends President & CEO Alan Stein: “We’re probably not going to sell any Roger Clemens Yankee stuff, but we’ll continue to market Roger” (“SportsCenter,” ESPN, 5/9).
