CHC Teams With Red Sox To Reach Uninsured Mass. Residents

The Commonwealth Healthcare Connector (CHC) is teaming up with the Red Sox for a $4M ad campaign as it “tries to sign up uninsured [Massachusetts] residents for health-care plans before the July 1 deadline,” according to sources cited by Jesse Noyes of the BOSTON HERALD. Sources said that CHC spots, which are already being filmed, will appear on NESN during Red Sox games later this month but will not feature any players. It is “unclear if the Sox will co-brand the campaign with the [CHC], but some sources suggested marketing leaflets could be handed out during Sox games at Fenway Park” (BOSTON HERALD, 5/4).
