AEG Creates New Division Dedicated To Branded Events

AEG has created a new division called AEG Events & Media that will be “dedicated to creating ‘branded’ national tours, sports tours, special events, awards shows and corporate showcases,” according to Phil Gallo of DAILY VARIETY. The division will “look to acquire existing tours and productions, plus create new entertainment properties based on established brands, characters, tournaments, sports and intellectual properties.” Former Disney and DreamWorks exec Eric Stevens will be President of the division, whose first project will be the Champions on Ice tour (DAILY VARIETY, 4/26).
