| Rosenhaus Discusses Misconceptions People Have About Sports Agents |
KING OF PAIN: When asked about the best and worst deal he has ever negotiated, Rosenhaus said the worst “had to be the Burger King commercial” where he represented the King in a spoof of his infamous press conference with then-Eagles WR TERRELL OWENS. Rosenhaus: “I got paid nothing. I gave my entire share to Terrell Owens. That was not a good negotiation. Burger King commercial; they paid $50,000; it went to my client.” Rosenhaus said his best deal was for RB CLINTON PORTIS with the Redskins because “he was only in the league for two years and had a four-year contract, and we were able to get him a new deal after two years where he became the highest-paid running back in NFL history” (“BDSSP,” FSN, 3/21).
