Punching Tickets: ’07 Conference Championship Nielsen Ratings

There were five men’s college basketball conference championship games airing on CBS, with the Missouri Valley seeing the biggest gain, up 38.5% for Creighton-Southern Illinois. Of the games that aired on ESPN networks, the Big South conference saw the biggest increase, with the Winthrop-VMI game up 700% from last year’s Winthrop-Coastal Carolina game on ESPN2. The Mountain West championship featuring UNLV-BYU switched to Versus for ’07 and saw its rating drop 80% from the San Diego State-Wyoming game on ESPN last year. The following presents conference championship games airing on network and cable TV, listed in order of ratings (THE DAILY).
