Toronto FC Stops Selling Season Tickets For Inaugural Season

RAPIDS: The Rapids are offering a new $51-96 ticket package called the “Becks Flex Pack,” which includes tickets to the August 26 game against the Galaxy and MF David Beckham. Remaining tickets include a choice of two of four games against either the Fire, Real Salt Lake, Red Bulls or Revolution. The Rapids sold out of single-game tickets for the Galaxy match in 90 minutes (DENVER POST, 3/14).
CONCACAF CHAMPIONS CUP: United’s 1-1 draw against Mexican club Chivas de Guadalajara on Thursday night “in the rain and cold at RFK Stadium” drew “a pro-Chivas crowd” of 26,528 (WASHINGTON POST, 3/16). The Dynamo’s 2-0 win over Mexican club FC Pachuca at Robertson Stadium on Thursday drew 13,007 fans. The game was originally scheduled for Wednesday but was postponed due to a power failure at the stadium (Mult., 3/16).
