Creative Artists Agency (CAA) has acquired the practice of New Jersey-based NBA agent LEON ROSE, giving the Hollywood talent firm a presence in representing star athletes in all four American team sports. Rose’s clients include Cavaliers F LEBRON JAMES, Nuggets G ALLEN IVERSON, Pistons G RICHARD HAMILTON and last year’s No. 1 NBA Draft pick, Raptors F ANDREA BARGNANI. “Leon has a well-deserved reputation for hard work and dedication to his clients,” said CAA President RICHARD LOVETT, in a statement. “We are confident Leon will fit seamlessly into our culture of collaboration, knowing that he shares our commitment to creating unlimited possibilities for our clients.” Rose in a statement said, “I am really excited to lead the growth effort for the basketball division of CAA Sports. The vast resources CAA provides will surely create many new and unique opportunities for our existing and future basketball clients.” In less than a year, CAA has assembled through acquisitions a sports practice which represents more than 350 athletes, including Colts QB PEYTON MANNING, Chargers RB LADAINIAN TOMLINSON, Yankees SS DEREK JETER, Phillies 1B RYAN HOWARD and Penguins C SIDNEY CROSBY.
