TEEING OFF: The PGA Tour’s The First Tee will host a Future Leaders Forum in conjunction with next year’s Funai Classic at Disney World. Toro will help underwrite the three-day conference on sports, business and the science of golf for 50 kids. The First Tee National Dir Joe Louis Barrow Jr. said that the forum “will be the next progression beyond” the Life Skills Academies in Virginia and Kansas, where First Tee members meet each summer for a week of conferences and golf (FLORIDA TIMES-UNION, 10/19)....The PGA Tour Wachovia Championship donated $1M to its primary charitable beneficiary, Teach for America. In its first four years, the tournament has donated $5.7M to charities (Wachovia).
