NFL Taps Max Muhleman To Research SoCal Market

Max Muhleman’s Private Sports Consulting is “helping the [NFL] with one of its biggest goals: Bringing a team back to Southern California,” according to Rick Rothacker of the CHARLOTTE OBSERVER. For about a month, Muhleman “has been researching” the L.A. and Anaheim markets for the league and expects to deliver his report soon. Muhleman has conducted “standard market research as well as one-on-one interviews.” He has also been “meeting with top leaders, focusing on key issues such as the ability to sell luxury suites.” Muhleman retired from IMG/Muhleman Marketing in December and launched his own boutique firm (CHARLOTTE OBSERVER, 10/14).
