DeBartolo Holdings On Board To Sponsor ’07 Outback Bowl

Tampa-based DeBartolo Holdings has agreed to become an “official game sponsor” of the Outback Bowl for the next two years, according to the TAMPA BAY BUSINESS JOURNAL. The company, owned by former 49ers Owner Eddie DeBartolo Jr., has sponsored the bowl’s annual team luncheon during game week for the past four years. Outback Bowl President & CEO Jim McVay said that the company will title sponsor the DeBartolo Pregame Show starting with the January 1 game at Raymond James Stadium. The Outback Bowl hosts teams from the SEC and Big Ten conferences and is televised by ESPN (BIZJOURNALS.com, 8/1).
