    The fears of many NASCAR teams and car manufacturers that Toyota would come with big dollars to land top drivers are being realized, as the Japanese company and Michael Waltrip Racing have lured Dale Jarrett away from Ford and Robert Yates Racing with a reported $22M deal. While RYR’s Doug Yates says Toyota made Jarrett “an offer he couldn’t refuse,” Toyota cites “the old law of supply and demand” as the impetus for the signing. UPS following Jarrett seems likely, considering the equity the brand has built with the driver.
