Armstrong Teaming Up With American Century Investments

The WALL STREET JOURNAL’s Angela Pruitt reports Lance Armstrong has collaborated with American Century Investments to market the Livestrong Portfolios, a line of funds that will donate a portion of investments to his Lance Armstrong Foundation. The marketing campaign, tagged “Put Your Lance Face On,” seeks to “link Armstrong’s battle with cancer and seven wins in the Tour de France to investing discipline” (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 2/13).

UNDER WRITING: Real Madrid MF David Beckham “is being approached to replace” Arsenal MF Freddie Ljungberg as spokesmodel for Calvin Klein’s CK underwear when Ljungberg’s contract expires next summer. Reports said that Beckham “had agreed to do a photoshoot for Calvin Klein and that the deal was close to being finalised” (BRAND REPUBLIC, 2/6).
