HOUSE OF LURIE: Former Eagles CB TOM BROOKSHIER at the end of his speech on behalf of the ’60 Eagles’ induction into the Philadelphia Sports HOF said, “I don’t want to editorialize or anything, but for whatever reason, the present Eagles management hasn’t embraced us. ... They have refused to bring us into the future.” In Philadelphia, Ed Barkowitz notes the “heart of the issue is a perceived snub over the Eagles’ failure to recognize the accomplishment of the 1960 team, the last Eagles club to win an NFL championship” (PHILADELPHIA DAILY NEWS, 1/5).
