Trailer Hitch: Capitals To Debut Ad In Local Movie Theaters

The Capitals this Friday will debut an ad specifically made for movie theaters that will run for 13 weeks on more than 180 movie screens in Maryland and Virginia and one in DC. The 30-second spot is tailored to mimic movie previews and shows Capitals highlights with movie review-type comments. The ad will play about 15 minutes before each show time at select AMC and Regal Cinemas theaters. The Capitals will also have concession stand plasma boards in all theaters except two, playing the same spot two to three times per hour. There will also be advertising slides displayed at three other area theaters (Capitals).
