DRESS THE PART: TENNIS’ Whit Sheppard reports that about 500 licensed products “bearing the Roland Garros logo will be available” at the French Open, throughout Paris and at www.rolandgarros.com this year. Peugeot, which produces French Open tie-ins each year, will introduce Roland Garros mountain bikes ($900), scooters ($5,300) and minivans ($35,000). Also available will be Roland Garros-label tennis and casual wear, wraparound sunglasses ($102) by Afflelou, and sneakers ($155) by adidas (TENNIS, 6/’05).
MEETING TOM: In Boston, Fee & Raposa reported Patriots QB Tom Brady is taking part in MSN.com’s “Celebrity Face Time Contest,” where the winner gets a video conversation with Brady. Contestants have to come up with three reasons why they deserve to meet Brady (BOSTON HERALD, 5/16).
