ESPN.com’s Len Pasquarelli reported the Falcons “have scheduled the premiere of the franchise’s highlight film” at the Fox Theater in Atlanta on May 25, the same day the league plans to announce the site for the ’09 Super Bowl. Atlanta, which has hosted two Super Bowls, “is said to be the front-runner.” Pasquarelli, on the date: “You can bet it wasn’t picked simply by happenstance” (ESPN.com, 5/16)....In N.Y., Peter Vecsey reports “two or three weeks ago the Nets issued a capital call” for $50M (N.Y.
