Phoenix Int’l Raceway President BRYAN SPERBER will oversee operations until a permanent replacement has been named (California Speedway)....PIERRE LAFONTAINE was named CEO of Swimming Canada (Toronto GLOBE & MAIL, 3/22)....IMG named Cabana Group Principal MITCH LAGROW and Browns VP/Marketing & Development BRUCE POPKO both as VP/Business Development. LaGrow will be based in IMG’s Chicago office, while Popko will be based in the Cleveland office (IMG).... SI named Fortune Group Eastern Advertising Dir RICH RUSSEY Publishing, where he will oversee the ad sales operations of SI Golf Plus, SI Adventure, SI on Campus, SI Presents and SI Latino (SI).
