The following chart presents ECHL attendance figures through March 8 for the ’04-05 and ’03-04 seasons. ECHL attendance is up 3.3% through the same date last season. Gwinnett and San Diego are up 21.6% and 21.1%, respectively. The ECHL has three fewer teams this year (THE DAILY).

NOTES: ^ = ’04-05 is Victoria’s first year in the ECHL and the team’s NHL affiliate is to be decided. The Greensboro and Roanoke franchises were terminated by the ECHL after the ’03-04 season. The Cincinnati and Columbus franchises suspended operations after the ’03-04 seasons. Columbus will resurface as the Gulf Coast Swords in ’05-06.
