Dressed To The Nines: Attanasio Chases Former Ticket Holders

| Attanasio Wasting Little Time As Brewers Owner |
Brewers Owner Mark Attanasio has offered to former season-ticket holders “a plan he hopes will win them back: a nine-game ticket package that includes a 10th game for free,” according to Don Walker of the MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL. The new plan offers a choice of four different nine-game packages, three of which include games against the Yankees, Cubs, Giants and Cardinals. The free tenth game is limited to specific games against opponents including the Mets, Astros and Nationals. Brewers Exec VP/Business Operations Rick Schlesinger said that the offering “was part of an overall team strategy that includes more research to find what fans want,” noting that the team also “looked at other clubs’ ticket plans to supplement their own research.” Schlesinger: “The fans were telling us they wanted a good number of games. Nine seemed to resonate in our fan research. Some teams do 13 or 14-game packages. Some have a small number. We wanted to come up with a plan with the right amount of games, the right mix of games, and offer enough different plans” (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 1/20).
