The FLORIDA TIMES-UNION reports 40,000 blue rubber bracelets featuring the Jaguars and Super Bowl XXXIX logos sold out after just three days on sale at local Gate and Winn-Dixie stores. Jacksonville Super Bowl Host Committee Dir of Special Projects HEATHER MURPHY said that “another 60,000 should be on sale by the weekend.” The bracelets sell for $1 each, with proceeds going to the NFL’s Youth Education Town Center constructed in each Super Bowl host city “to provide educational and recreational activities for economically at-risk youths” (FLORIDA TIMES-UNION, 1/19).
TRUMP CARD: DONALD TRUMP has formed TRUMP GOLF MANAGEMENT to develop his golf brand. The company, which will be overseen by managing partners CAROLYN KEPCHER and ASHLEY COOPER, will consolidate clubhouse and golf course operations, purchasing, HR and marketing for Trump’s four golf courses (Newark STAR-LEDGER, 1/19).
