CHARTER REVOKED: Charter Communications President & CEO CARL VOGEL resigned his positions as well as his seat on Charter’s BOD. Charter Dir and HealthSouth Chair ROBERT MAY was appointed interim President & CEO (Charter).

HAIL TO THE CHIEFS: The Chiefs named BILL NEWMAN Senior VP/Administration, where he will oversee the team’s sales, marketing, advertising, tickets, promotions, data processing, development and stadium operations. Most recently, Newman was VP & Dir of Sales for Infinity Radio and its four K.C. FM stations (Chiefs).

EXECS: Grand Central Marketing promoted Senior Account Dir SEELUN MAK to VP (Grand Central Marketing)....Lowe’s Motor Speedway (LMS) promoted Senior Manager of Promotion & Media Relations SCOTT COOPER to the newly-created position of Dir of Marketing & PR. The promotion is part of a restructuring which merges the speedway’s marketing initiatives with the PR department (LMS)....The Peter J. McGovern Little League Museum named JANICE OGURCAK Dir (Little League)....The Single-A Northwest League Salem-Keizer Volcanoes promoted KATE HAMM to Dir of Ticket Operations & Merchandising, and named JOHN BANGS and CHRISTINE CAMPBELL Sales Execs (Volcanoes)....The MLS Chivas USA named EDDIE HERNANDEZ Account Exec (Game Face).
