Quiksilver Chair & CEO Says Not So Fast On Rossignol Deal
Published January 14, 2005
Quiksilver Chair & CEO Robert McKnight Jr. said that, contrary to previous reports, his company “is not poised to buy” Skis Rossignol SA, according to Tiffany Montgomery of the ORANGE COUNTY REGISTER. McKnight said that the talks were “informal,” adding, “There is no deal, there is no letter of intent.” McKnight noted that Quiksilver and Rossignol “have had informal conversations over the years about teaming up on different projects or businesses, but nothing definitive has been decided” (O.C. REGISTER, 1/14).
