Charter Communications and Altitude Sports & Entertainment have signed a multiyear carriage deal, putting Altitude on basic or expanded basic cable for customers in Estes Park, Colorado, and Western Nebraska. Carriage will begin no later than March 1 (Altitude).
BANDING TOGETHER: In Denver, Dick Kreck reported Altitude “decided it needs to give subscribers more than reruns so they’re beefing up the ‘entertainment’ half of the franchise.” Altitude on February 5 will air a January 29 concert by local band Dotsero to “kick off the network’s new music series.” Altitude Senior VP/Marketing & Sales Tom Philand said it will be “the first of many. We’re actively trying to solicit venues and acts” (DENVER POST, 1/10).
