Predators Sign Hummer
As First-Ever Title Sponsor |
Hummer of Orlando has inked a three-year deal with the AFL Predators to become the team’s “first title sponsor,” according to Shannon Shelton of the ORLANDO SENTINEL. Hummer of Orlando, which signed on as a team corporate sponsor last year, will “increase its investment in the organization through a partnership that puts the company name on nearly all aspects of team operations,” including billboards, schedule cards, advertising and product placement during games. The “most noticeable instance of that placement will be the official titling of the Predators’ playing surface as Hummer Field at TD Waterhouse Centre, upon approval from the [AFL].” Predators President & General Managing Partner Brett Bouchy called the agreement the “largest business deal in team history.” Bouchy: “We will literally become the Orlando Predators, presented by Hummer” (ORLANDO SENTINEL, 1/11).
