| All-Encompassing Woods DVD Retails For $50 |
Tiger Woods’ new three-set DVD, “Tiger,” has “highlights of Woods’ best wins and individual golf shots” but also “covers his life through interviews” with him, his parents and friends such as Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, Mark O’Meara and Greg Norman, according to USA TODAY’s Mike Snider. The first DVD “plays clips of Tiger swinging a club as a toddler and displays family photographs.” The second is “dedicated to his triumphs in major championships,” and the third “deals with Woods’ impact on the course and beyond.” The $50 DVD from Buena Vista Home Entertainment hit retail Tuesday (USA TODAY, 11/19).
SINGH-ING PRAISES: GOLFWEEK’s Forecaddie reports the PGA Tour’s “These Guys are Good” ad campaign will feature Vijay Singh next season, as well as Chris DiMarco, Jim Furyk and Sergio Garcia. Singh’s spot shows him “working hard on his putting during the winter offseason, sinking slippery putt after slippery putt” on a frozen pond and wearing “an Elmer Fudd-like cap with ear flaps” (GOLFWEEK, 11/20 issue).
STERLING SILVER: LPGAer Carin Koch has signed with Sterling Sports Management, which will handle her business affairs, endorsements and appearances (GOLFWEEK, 11/20).
